Fishing club, competitions and further events
Competitions
Taking over fishing district Klokot, we will also organise at least one international angling competition per year. The first one will be organised probably in August 2009 when the best fly-fishermen will be competing against each other. The programme, conditions for the participation and further information will be published on this website during the coming weeks.
Angling classes
For all those who still want to learn something about fly-fishing, we are offering courses for total beginners and advanced fishermen. They will be instructed by experienced anglers who know the river like the back of their hands.
In order to guarantee the availability of the trainers, we ask you to register for the classes one week before the start.
Fishing club LippY
For all those, who want to come back to Klokot, we offer the possibility to become member of our newly found club „Lippy". Its members will be invited to different kinds of events, such as further angling competitions, excursions and entertainment.
Our mascot LippY got its name from our autochthonous species grayling („lipljen" in Bosnian language). Thanks to the clean and cold waters of this region, such as Klokot, this fish, which is elsewhere strongly endangered, can still be found here in huge quantities.
